NOWSHERA: A woman was hospitalised after her ruthless husband set her on fire over domestic disputes here on Sunday. Police said accused hailing from Namal Bala locality of district Nowshera had differences with wife over domestic issues. The culprit on Sunday after exchange of hot words sprinkled petrol and set the wife on fire leaving her critically wounded. He fled after committing the crime.
The scorched lady was shifted to local hospital in critical condition where she was referred to Burns Centre of Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar. The police, after registering a case against the accused, have started raids for his arrest.
