Husband injures wife, mother in-law

KARACHI (APP) – Ruqqaiya, a 50 year old mother stabbed by her son in-law, along with her two young daughters, was rushed in seriously injured condition to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center on Wednesday morning.

Ruqaiya, wife of Jamil Qudratullah, and 25 year old Tabbasum alias Anjum wife of Alim uddin had to be operated upon under emergency condition while 16 year old Nazneen Qudratullah brought with a wounded ear received necessary medical aid and was discharged after a few hours.

JPMC doctors told APP that Ruqaiya and her daughters were attacked with a dagger by Alimuddin, husband of Tabbasum, who forced his entry into his in-laws home and managed to stab his wife at neck and abdomen.

Ruqiya in an attempt to protect her daughter received neck injuries and wound incision in her right hand finger. Both mother and daughter after required surgical interventions were shifted to the ward, doctors said.

As per details Alimuddin had developed a dispute of domestic nature with his wife, who left for her parents place and refused to go back to her husband.

Infuriated Alimuddin, after varied failed attempts to woe his wife back reached her parents residence at a time when there were no male members of the family and attacked his wife.
