OKARA: A woman and her newborn died after taking poisonous milk at 20/1RB village on Wednesday. Nadeem Masih brought milk from Muhammad Aslam Arain who was allegedly accompanied by a proclaimed offender Nadeem Ashraf besides Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Ismail.
At night Nadeem, his mother-in-law Ramazana Bibi took tea made from milk while his wife Uzma Bibi and her 40-day-old son Arsalan took milk and died. Nadeem Babar got up and felt sick. His mother-in-law Ramzana Bibi was also sick. Nadeem and Ramazana Bibi were rushed to hospital for treatment. Nadeem Babar got a case registered at the Renala Khurd City police station, stating that Aslam had mixed poison in milk at the behest of Nadeem Ashraf and his accomplices as he was a witness in a case against Nadeem Ashraf registered by a group of Anjuman-e-Mazareen Punjab Renala Estate.
