HAFIZABAD: During a dacoity in village Kotoana (Dera Anwar Lurka), a woman was gang-raped by robbers who later made off with cash and valuables worth thousands of rupees here the other night. According to Anwar, three armed bandits posing as policemen, intruded into his house and made all the family members hostage. He claimed the accused then one by one raped his 60-year-old wife Manzooran Bibi.
The accused also managed to escape with household articles worth thousands of rupees.
He said that he approached the Sukheke Police SHO but he was reluctant to register a case. However, when contacted, the SHO said that the police were investigating and a case would be registered after the medical report.
