CHAKWAL: A married woman was strangulated in Rabal village, police said on Tuesday.

Fauzia Ahmad, a resident of Karachi told Dohman police that she could not contact her mother, Safia Begum, for many days and she came to the village from Karachi to see her mother. “When I went to the house of my mother, I felt foul smell emanating from a locked room. As I opened the door I found my mother lying on the floor”, she maintained. She said that she found the strangulation marks on her neck.

She accused that Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Odherwal village had murdered her mother. However she did not tell the reason behind the murder. Police started investigation after registering a case.
