Two brothers held for filming girls they abused

BAHAWALNAGAR: The police arrested two brothers for filming girls they abused in the remit of ‘A’ Division Police on Saturday.

According to police, Assistant Sub-Inspector Faraz got a sex video of a girl from an undisclosed source. The police claimed that two accused — Atif and Nadeem — both sons of Abdul Karim, residents of Quresh Colony were identified through the video. However, the girl could not be identified so far. Later, further investigation led the police to the fact that both the brothers run clothes business. They lure female customers to the upper storey of their shop where they film them while abusing.

The police have registered a case against both the accused on the compliant of Sub-Inspector Niaz, with no arrest.

The local police have become proactive against such incidents after the child sex abuse scandal in Kasur came to light last week.

In Chishtian, a 16-year-old girl was gang-raped and the police arrested two accused.

The police said three ‘influential’ landlords —- Waseem, Tariq and Imran, residents of Chak 110/F, intoxicated a woman, wife of Mehmood who is in Karachi in connection with his job, around 10:30pm the other night. Later, they took 16-year-old Kinza, daughter of Mehmood to their dera where they gang raped her.

Later, the accused threw the girl at her doorsteps in the wee hours of Saturday in unconscious condition. The girl was shifted to THQ Hospital Chishtian where Dr Nasira Tariq, Dr Shaista Khalid and Dr Quratul Ain initially examined her and confirmed the rape.

The doctors, however, said the ‘number’ of rapists would be ascertained after DNA.

Meanwhile, the police came into action and arrested two accused —— Waseem and Tariq while hunt for Imran continued till filing of this report. The Chishtian Saddr Police registered a case against the three accused.

On the other hand, Bahawalnagar DCO Haider Iqbal and DPO Shariq Kamal visited the THQ Hospital Chishtian and inquired after the health of the affected girl. It is learnt that Regional Police officer Ehsan Sadiq has also taken notice of the incident.
