Karachi: Three men were arrested in Ghulam Rasool Colony in Clifton on Friday for allegedly trying to rape a 14-year-old girl. Police are searching for their fourth accomplice.
Talking to The News, the Clifton SP said a man had approached the Boat Basin police on Thursday night claiming that four young men had tried to molest his teenage daughter.
A case was registered under Section 376/34 (common intention of rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The police arrested three of the four suspects on Friday.
The men were identified as Imran Ali, Shahzad Khan and Bahadur Ali. The fourth suspect on the run was named Yasir Manzoor. A medical examination of the girl would also be conducted, said the SP.
