The court heard that when the girl asked him whether her teacher was at home, he replied in the affirmative and let her in.

Later, the girl said, Ahmed asked her to undress. She said she resisted and started shouting. At this, the man became infuriated and threatened to kill her.

For fear of life, the girl said, she stopped resisting. Ahmed then sexually assaulted her, the girl said. After the assault, the man left her in his bedroom and ran away, she said.

The girl told the court that she returned home and told her grandmother what had happened.

The grandmother told her younger son, an uncle of the girl, about the incident. The uncle immediately ran to the house of the teacher, grabbed Ahmed, who was hiding in a bathroom, and handed him over to the police.
