GUJRANWALA: The Baghbanpura police recovered a 55-year-old woman who was confined by her brother at Pakistan Pan Shop Street on the Hafizabad Road on Sunday.
Police received information that Saleem had illegally confined his sister Sabeela in a room to grab her property.
Following the information, the police raided the house of Saleem and recovered his sister from there.
Sabeela told the police that they were three brothers and two sisters. She said that she was unmarried while her sister had already died.
She said that her two brothers, Nazir and Jameel, got their share in property and lived in People’s Colony.
She said that she was forced to live with Saleem, who wanted to deprive her of share in property. Police have registered a case while Saleem is at large.
