Islamabad: The Margalla Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing his stepdaughter after raping her. The mother of the victim was also taken into custody for her alleged support to her husband in the crime.

According to the police spokesman, Sumera Bibi was residing with her husband Sabir Gill in Quarter 12-D, Sector E-8, to whom she married after the death of her first husband. She had two kids, Arfa and Arbaz, from the first husband and she took her daughter along with her after second marriage.

One of the close relatives of her first husband, Saneel Aashiq Gill, inquired about 13-year-old Arfa on May 23, 2014 and he was told that she died due to typhoid on May 21, 2014.
