GUJRANWALA-: A man gunned down his former wife while two persons were killed in road accident here on Sunday.
As per details, Muhammad Ali, a resident of Faisal Colony had divorced his wife Sajida about six months ago and she had filled a writ petition in a court for maintenance allowance. Annoyed with her over litigation, he opened fire gunshot on her killing her on the spot. Similarly, near Pindi Bypass, one Shabbir was the way to city when his motorcycle collided with a donkey-cart. Resultantly he died on the spot.
In another road accident, a speeding car crushed to death a 65-years-old man while crossing road. Identity of the deceased could not be established till filing of this report.
NINE FAINT: Nine persons including five children fainted after consuming poisonous food.
The incident occurred when Imran, a resident of Saleem Colony, serving in a marriage hall brought a sweet dish from marriage hall. As soon as they consumed the sweet dish, all the family members including Imran, Neema, Fareha, Mezan, Daiem, Mishal, Aiman, Ayesha and Mehtab fell unconscious. They were rushed to hospital where their condition is stated to stable.
