SANGHAR, February 23, 2005: A married woman was axed to death by her husband in the limits of the Mangli police station, Sanghar, on February 21 nights. Reports said Leemo Bugti had attacked his wife, Pathani, 30, with an axe while she had been working in the house. She sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Civil Hospital, Sanghar, where she died. Later, her body was handed over to her heirs after an autopsy.

The cause behind the murder is said to be domestic affairs. On the complaint of Miandad Bugti, father of the deceased, a case has been registered. The police have arrested the accused and recovered the axe
