A youngster accompanied by his accomplice on Sunday killed his two younger sisters in the name of honour. According to police, accused Azhar hailing from Salarwahan area of tehsil Kabirwala, district Khanewal was suspicious about the character of his two sisters. He used to quarrel with them and often advised them to adapt Islamic norms.
On Sunday morning, Azhar quarrelled with his sisters and left the house. He returned along with his friend, an alleged accomplice, and a pistol in hand. He opened fire at his sisters and killed Saira Bibi, 18, and Shumaila Bibi, 14. The accused then fled from the murder scene.
