SHIKARPUR: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) awarded death sentence to an accused involved in murder of a woman through an acid attack.
The accused identified as Arslan, in 2009 had thrown acid on woman over personal grudge wounding her critically. The woman had later died during treatment in a hospital.
Hearing of the case was held in ATC of Shikarpur. The court after hearing the arguments of plaintiff and defendant and going through witnesses and evidences awarded death sentence to the culprit.—INP
