ABBOTTABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader and ex-MPA from Kohistan, Maulana Dildar Ahmed, has confirmed the deaths of all the characters of Kohistan video scandal.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Maulana Dildar said sitting MPA from Kohistan, Maulana Asmatullah, concealed this fact from the commission investigating the video scandal to avoid any disturbance in the law and order situation.
He said all the five girls hailing from Azadkhel tribe shown in the video were killed while the three brothers, Shah Faisal, Safiuddin and Sher Wali, were also shot dead in revenge. Dildar said he had informed the then Hazara commissioner and DIG of the reality.
The JUI-F leader said the slain girls were buried in a far-flung mountainous area and he could locate the site if provided a helicopter.
He said the girls who met social activist Farzana Bari were relatives of the murdered girls and not those identified in the video.
