Acting CJ takes sou moto notice against killing of 3 women

QUETTA: Acting Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Justice Ahmed Khan Lashari on Wednesday sought a comprehensive report from the district police officer-DPO and district coordina­tion officer Jaffarabad about myste­rious killing of three women, registration of FIR and conduct of investigation regarding the incident.
The acting CJ sought the report regarding the killing of three women after taking sou moto notice about the incident on a news story published on section of a local newspaper on July 14.

The judge expressed his dissatisfaction over the news item regarding the incident in which the motive behind the incident could not be known, besides no official sources confirmed the incident.

The judge remarked: “The killing of three women either in the fake name of’ Siahkari’ (illicit ions) or may be any other reaction, but the fact remains that such a severe incident directly touch the fundamental humanity and society at large.” The acting CJ further remarked that time and again it had been observed that innocent women were being killed for personal reasons in the name of so called ‘Siahkari’ which were being left unnoticed.
